MY JOURNEY

I'm based in the midlands and travel far and wide for the huge variety of work that I'm a part of. I'm certain by now that I've been to every town that nobody's heard of in the UK!

MY MISSION

My reputation is paramount to me...

My mission is to never stop learning, to not take a single show for granted, and to work with the best people I can. I believe that reputation is something that has to be built over a long time, and since 2013 when I learnt to drive and began gigging properly, I'd like to think that I've only built a good one. Being prepared, punctual and excited to hit the stage is the only way to be!

My Journey So Far

2007

Began learning the drums at school

When I joined high school, I was finally able to get access to music tuition through the incredible Birmingham Music Service (now Services for Education) whom I later worked for as a peripatetic music teacher. The drum lessons I had were only short, with around 6 minutes each on the instrument, but I'm forever grateful for them.

2009

Gained a scholarship from Birmingham Music Service

After having lessons for 2 years, I was given a scholarship to provide me with an individual lesson all to my self. I used to bug the drum teacher by working out who else wasn't in school that day and taking their lessons too. Poor guy never did get to each his sandwiches...
